From September thru July, our team goal is to increase Civic Engagement and Service Learning in the Walla Walla area. During the service year, there is a constant stream of opportunity for community involvement in fundraisers, education events, information fairs, restoration projects, cleanup and building projects.

Why Become a Member?

Our service year begins September 1st and ends July 15th, during that time, BMAC AmeriCorps Team Members receive a living stipend of $1150 per month, are eligible for basic health benefits, child care assistance, are provided the opportunity enhance the resume, receive loan forbearance and after successful completion of their term of service, AmeriCorps members earn a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award of $5,350.

The largest of AmeriCorps programs, AmeriCorps State and National provides funds to local and national organizations and agencies committed to using national service to address critical community needs in education, public safety, health and the environment.
